Stellenbosch is outside our included radius, so we're straight with you: it's by arrangement, and the extra distance is quoted at the published AA / SARS rate before you commit.

By arrangement
Stellenbosch sits beyond the 10 km radius from Gordon's Bay where our delivery and collection are included. We are not going to pretend otherwise, because you would find out on the invoice.
What we do instead is quote it transparently. The extra distance is charged at the standard AA / SARS per-kilometre rate — a published, independent figure you can look up yourself rather than a number we invented. Cliff tells you the total before anything is booked.
For a decent-sized job that usually still works out competitively, because you are getting an owner-operator rather than a company with a depot to fund. For a single small load, an operator based in Stellenbosch itself will probably beat us, and Cliff will say so. That honesty is worth more to us than one marginal booking.

The academic calendar creates two intense windows a year when everyone in Stellenbosch is moving at once. A truck and driver charged per load beats self-drive van rental for a student move nearly every time — no deposit to find, no insurance excess hanging over you, and someone who actually carries the fridge down the stairs. If several people in the same house are moving, say so: one run covering multiple loads spreads the travel cost across all of you.
This is where the distance stops mattering. A job that needs the digger loader for clearing or levelling and the truck for hauling spoil away is substantial enough that the travel is a small fraction of the total — and getting both halves from one contractor is worth more than saving a few kilometres.
A single small rubble load to Stellenbosch is not our strongest offer. A renovation producing several skip rotations over a fortnight is, because the travel is spread across the whole job rather than loaded onto one trip.
The simplest thing is to message Cliff with the job and the address. He will either give you a number that makes sense, or tell you plainly that someone closer will do it cheaper. Both answers are useful, and neither costs you anything.

Nobody thinks in cubic metres. Everyone can picture a wheelbarrow. Drag the slider to roughly how many barrow loads are sitting there, and we'll tell you what it needs — then send it straight to Cliff.
A builder's wheelbarrow holds about 0.1 m³. Twenty-five of them fill one 2.5 m³ skip.
About 1.8 m³ — comfortably inside one 2.5 m³ skip. Leave it standing while you fill it over a day or two, then message Cliff to collect.
